Inherited '85 454 but am way too cramped sitting on it. It's got the crash bar around engine, but makes shifting gears with boots a bit tight.
I'm looking for a way to stretch out. Either adding pegs to the crash bar (which are angled back instead of straight up & down), or replacing crash bar with a hiway bar/pegs or some long hiway pegs mounted to frame somehow.
There are lots of posts on this board about similar questions, but most are so old that the links & photos are gone now. Anyone have any ideas or new pictures would be appreciated...JR
