Hey folks. I took my bike in for a safety (Canada) and the tech pointed out that my speedo gear on the wheel rotates forward and back as the wheel spins. There is a nub on the fork that stops it from rotating all the way around. It seems like the way it's supposed to work? I have attached a video. Is this functioning correctly and the tech just doesn't realize it? The speedo works perfectly. I have the shop book and it doesn't mention anything about this other than ensuring the gear is set inside the wheel tabs correctly, which it is. I have searched this forum but can't find anything. Also posted on the Facebook 454 group. Thanks for your help!

check that the wheel is tight as the speedo is held btween the fork and wheel bearing.

Thanks! Yep, that's all it was. I must have backed up the nut a bit too much after torque spec to get the wheel spinning freely. To hold the speedo gear in place it feels a bit too tight to me, but I guess that's that. I replaced all of the bearings, brakes, etc which is why I had it all apart in the first place. Appreciate your quick fix help!
