I have looked all over this forum looking for the thread that had the size in it, is it 54mm?? seems big but maybe i am thinking of something else.

got my Emgo's, what do you all oil with?? just engine oil or do you go for a certain spray?

If u got the right ones, u do not oil them. They are a paper-type filter...oil would ruin them.

got my Emgo's, what do you all oil with?? just engine oil or do you go for a certain spray? I have the Emgo Filters & and I use a proper spray oil for filters with no ill effects,but you can run them dry if you want.I found that the filter oil helps keep any water from penetrating the filter.I have cleaned & oiled them several times.

If u got the right ones, u do not oil them. They are a paper-type filter...oil would ruin them. Is it possible that the newer Emgo filters are made different? I have washed & oiled mine several times.I was told that you could run them either way,oiled or dry.But they would filter fine particles & resist water better if they were oiled.
